Without fail, every single time that Donald Trump screwed someone over for his own personal gain is going to come back and bite him in the ass, especially when it comes down to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

Trump’s Deputy Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein, is now giving some not-so-subtle hints that he’s going to spill the beans on the president, after realizing that Trump used and manipulated him into writing the memo that would later get former FBI Director James Comey fired. Rosenstein, now free of any moral obligation to Trump, believes that telling his story will save him and is no longer worried about throwing the president under the bus.

The New York Times reported:

But in meetings with law enforcement officials in the chaotic days immediately after Mr. Comey’s dismissal, and in subsequent conversations with colleagues and friends, Mr. Rosenstein appeared conflicted, according to the four people. He alternately defended his involvement, expressed remorse at the tumult it unleashed, said the White House had manipulated him, fumed how the media had portrayed the events and said the full story would vindicate him, said the people, who in recent weeks described the previously undisclosed episodes.

According to one person with whom he spoke with shortly after Mr. Comey’s firing, Mr. Rosenstein was “shaken,” “unsteady” and “overwhelmed.”

The Rosenstein memo, which Trump used to justify his firing of Comey, could be a massive clue that Trump is guilty of obstruction of justice. We all know that Trump didn’t fire Comey for any legitimate reason other than to save himself, and the fact that he had to trick Rosenstein into writing that memo to cover up his true motive proves it.

This is yet another case of Trump getting caught in one of his con artist acts, and it’s not going to end well for him.
